# Step-by-Step Guide to Obtain Your Auth Token

To obtain the \<auth\_token> from Protecto.ai, follow these steps:

1. &#x20;**Sign Up:**
   * Visit <https://trial.protecto.ai/>.
   * Sign up for a free account.
   * Wait for the Subscription to activate the account.
2. &#x20;**Navigate to Profile:**
   * After logging in, locate and click on the Profile icon.&#x20;
3. &#x20;**Subscription Details:**
   * Within the Profile section, find the Subscription details.
4. &#x20;**Retrieve Auth Token:**
   * Look for the Tokenization Auth key within the Subscription Details section.
5. &#x20;**Copy the Auth Token:**

   * Once you locate the Auth token, copy it. This token is essential for authorization when using  APIs.<br>
